As this was a dedicated photo shoot. We flew with the door open with mark safely strapped in. The pilot was really flexible; and fully understood the the wants of the photographers.
He operated within flying regulations; but we were were able to make slow approaches to the temples and and in some cases hover over the sites to allow the closest view possible. A 70-200 lens was ideal for this. I shot both stills and video using 5D mk2 and 12-24 ultra wide lens for inside shots and 70D with 70-200 F4 IS lens for outside.
